Xiamen University (XMU for short) was founded in 192 1 year by Chen Jiageng, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It is the first university founded by overseas Chinese in the history of modern education in China. Schools include Siming Campus, Zhangzhou Campus, Xiang 'an Campus and Malaysia Branch.
