Suzhou University, located in Suzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in northern Anhui, is a comprehensive undergraduate college in Anhui Province. The school was founded in 1949 and upgraded to Suzhou Normal University in 1983. It was upgraded to Suzhou College in 2004 and won the first batch of demonstration application-oriented undergraduate colleges in Anhui Province in 2009.
