First, Yunnan Art Institute:

Yunnan Art College, referred to as "Yi Yun" for short, is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, a spring city, one of the six major art colleges in China. It is a comprehensive art college in Southwest China, a scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students, a national cultural quality education base for college students, a professional construction site with national characteristics, a first-class discipline construction university in Yunnan Province, and a social art level examination institution.

Second, Yunnan University:

Yunnan University (YNU), located in Kunming, is a national key university jointly built by the Ministry of Education and Yunnan Province, and a national "double-class" construction university. Yunnan University was founded in 1922 as a private Donglu University, 1934 changed its name to provincial Yunnan University, and 1938 changed its name to national Yunnan University. It is one of the earliest comprehensive universities in the western frontier of China.

Third, Yunnan University for Nationalities:

Yunnan University for Nationalities, located in Kunming, is a comprehensive provincial key university founded by the Ministry of Education, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government. It has been selected into the "Excellent Legal Talents Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, the bilingual talents training base of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, and the scholarship receiving institution of the China Municipal Government for overseas students, and is a doctoral degree awarding unit. The school was founded in August 195 1, formerly known as Yunnan University for Nationalities, and is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning for nationalities founded by the people of China. In April 2003, it was renamed Yunnan University for Nationalities.
