This degree provides a two-year full-time course, which mainly provides students with theoretical and practical preparation before becoming teachers. After obtaining the degree, students will also obtain the Ontario teacher qualification certificate and be recommended to the Ontario Teachers College to teach in primary and secondary schools in Ontario. Before graduation, students must pass the comprehensive examination in addition to completing relevant courses before they can get the master's degree in teaching and the recommendation of teacher qualification certificate. Whether students can register in the second year depends on whether they can successfully complete the compulsory courses in the first year.
