At present, the mainstream value orientation of college students' love and marriage is positive, healthy and upward, which conforms to the mainstream orientation of love and marriage values advocated by socialism. However, on the whole, college students' views on marriage and love are the contradiction between tradition and modernity: the motivation and behavior of love are misplaced, the egoism and the pursuit of pure emotion are synchronized in the standard of mate selection, the tradition and modernity are intertwined in the way of mate selection, and the sense of responsibility, loyalty and sexual tolerance conflict. Among them, with the increase of grade, college students' "ideal of love" is getting weaker and more realistic, and there is obvious gender difference in the degree of "sexual tolerance" in their views on marriage and love, which is influenced to some extent by the membership of political organizations such as party member and League members.
