Engineering management is an undergraduate major in colleges and universities, which belongs to management science and engineering. The basic study period is four years, and a bachelor's degree in management or engineering is awarded. Students in this major mainly study the basic theories, methods and technical knowledge of civil engineering in engineering management and receive basic training in engineering project management.

The curriculum system of curriculum management specialty is divided into two aspects: theoretical teaching course and practical teaching course. Theoretical teaching courses include general courses, basic courses and professional courses; Practical teaching courses include course experiment, course design, social practice, practical training, graduation thesis (design) and comprehensive practical training. The accumulated credits of practical, innovative and entrepreneurial teaching courses shall not be less than 20% of the total credits.

Basic courses of engineering management:

1, the basic curriculum system includes the basic courses of mathematics and physics, information technology and engineering, economics, management and other majors, as well as the basic courses required according to the professional training plan. Universities and majors can set up courses according to the required knowledge field, specific orientation and school-running characteristics, including at least the following professional basic courses.

2. The basic course of mathematical physics should cover advanced mathematics, linear algebra, probability theory and other knowledge fields.

3. The basic courses of information technology and engineering specialty should cover management information system, professional related information and engineering technology and other knowledge fields.

4. The basic course of economics should cover the knowledge fields of economics (such as microeconomics and macroeconomics).

5. Basic management courses should cover knowledge fields such as operational research, management and statistics.
