I. Application conditions
1. Studying in dongguk university meets the general admission requirements (a) or (b).
(a) Both the applicant and his parents are foreign nationals
Neither the applicant nor his parents are Korean nationals.
Special circumstances: If one of the parents of an applicant from Taiwan Province Province, China is from Taiwan Province Province, he can also apply for admission in this way.
Korean applicants with dual citizenship are not eligible to apply for admission in this way.
(b) Applicants who have completed (or are expected to complete) 12-year education courses outside Korea.
International students who have completed or are expected to complete 12 years (or longer) primary and secondary education (primary school/junior high school/senior high school) outside Korea.
There is no need to prove that both parents are foreign citizens.
Korean applicants with dual citizenship are not eligible to apply for admission in this way.
2. Requirements for studying in dongguk university.
(1) Freshman Admission Application (one year undergraduate)
Graduated from ordinary high school (or about to graduate).
Applicants who have completed the same level of education according to the relevant primary and secondary education laws.
(2) Transfer students (second year undergraduate)
Meet the entrance requirements of all freshmen listed above and one of the following:
1) Complete at least 1 full-time (more than 2 semesters, excluding seasonal semesters) study in Korea or other four-year universities.
2) Students who have graduated from Korea or other two-year or three-year schools, or who have already graduated.
(3) Transfer students (third year of undergraduate course)
Meet the entrance requirements of all freshmen listed above and one of the following:
1) has completed at least 3 years of full-time study in Korea or other four-year universities (more than 4 semesters, excluding seasonal semesters).
2) Students who want to graduate from Korea or other two-year or three-year schools, or who have already graduated.
3. Language proficiency requirements for studying in dongguk university are (a) or (b).
(a) The applicant meets the requirements of Korean proficiency or English proficiency test scores.
Korean: The score of Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) has reached registration level 3 or above;
English: TOEFL score reached 530; Computer test scores reached197; The online test score reached 71; The IELTS test score reached 5.5; CEFR test scores reached B2 level; TEPS test scores reached more than 600 points.
Dongguk university allows applicants who have no language proficiency test scores to apply. If they are admitted, they must learn Korean well within the time specified by the school and submit their test scores. Otherwise, the applicant will enter the pre-university course.
(b) Applicants who have completed a Korean course in Grade 4 or above in dongguk university (Seoul Campus).

Applicants who have completed Korean courses in other universities are not accepted.
