Kanazawa University, located in Ishikawa Prefecture, is an established national university in Japan, ranking in the 20 th and 30 th overall. Tuition fees in state universities are generally much lower than those in private universities. Moreover, Kanazawa University's location is relatively partial, and its consumption level will be relatively low.
Kansai University is located in Hyogo Prefecture, near Osaka and Kobe. It is a famous private university in Japan. Together with Kansai University, Tongshe University and Ritsumeikan University, it is also known as the four famous private schools in Kansai and one of the famous aristocratic schools in Japan. Many children from wealthy families will choose to go to school here.
Kyoto University of Technology is a well-known private university in Kansai region, but it is not as good as Kansai University. But the location is better, in the beautiful ancient city of Kyoto. Shinshu University, Fukui University and Yi Xue University in Tokyo are also national universities. Hyogo Prefectural University and Miyazaki Public University are both local public universities, and there is a big gap in quality compared with national universities. Among them, Hyogo Prefectural University is much stronger than Miyazaki Public University.
I suggest Kanazawa or Kansai College as the first choice, followed by Shinshu, Fukui and Tokyo. Of course, if you want to play and study in Japan for one year, you'd better choose a school in Tokyo or Kansai, with convenient transportation and many interesting places around. Yi Xue University in Tokyo is located in Tokyo, and Kansai College, Kyoto Industries and Hyogo Prefecture are all located in Kansai area.
