1 Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College
Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public national demonstration higher vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education in July 2000.
The school inherits the original starting point of five national and provincial key middle schools, such as Lingling Health School, Lingling Agricultural School, Lingling Commercial School, Lingling Industrial School and Lingling Normal School, and inherits its vocational education tradition and spirit. The history of running a school can be traced back to the 1930s.
The college covers a total area of 6.5438+0.959 million square meters, with a total construction area of 4.697 million square meters and total fixed assets of 65.438+0./kloc-0.75 billion yuan, of which, the total teaching equipment is 267 million yuan and the book collection is 6.5438+0.225 million.
2. Yongzhou Teachers College
Yongzhou Normal University is a full-time public university approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of the original Daoxian Normal School and the original Qiyang Normal School. The former Daoxian Teachers College was founded in 1958, and the former Qiyang Teachers College was founded in 1979, with a history of 64 years of normal education.
The school fully implements the party's educational policy, implements the fundamental task of moral education, adheres to normal education, and relies on rural teacher training to cultivate more than 60,000 talents for the society and educate nearly 50,000 talents.
3. Hunan Jiuyi Vocational and Technical College
Hunan Jiuyishan Vocational and Technical College has grown up on the basis of Jiuyishan College, which is the first private college in new China founded by Professor Le Tianyu, a former member of the State Department, the first president of Beijing Agricultural University, a famous agronomist and educator, who returned to his hometown of ningyuan county, Yongzhou.
Xiao Ke, Wang Shoudao, Li and Zeng San, proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation, and famous scientists Qian Xuesen and Zhou Peiyuan all served as the dean of the college. From 65438 to 0985, Comrade Hu Jintao, then the first secretary of the Communist Youth League Central Committee, wrote back to the Youth League Committee of Jiuyishan College, encouraging teachers and students to work hard and run schools diligently.
4. Qiyang Vocational Secondary School
It was built in 1984 and rebuilt in 1995. The new campus is located in the new industrial park in Qiyang County, adjacent to Wuxi Park, a national 4A-level scenic spot. It is the first batch of national key secondary vocational schools, demonstration secondary vocational schools in Hunan Province, the first batch of information-based teaching pilot schools in Hunan Province, and designated training schools for reservoir immigrants in Hunan Province.
