1972, Sugihara was born in Tokyo, Japan, and transferred to Toyama Prefecture in middle school.

In the third grade of junior high school, Sugiyama participated in band activities at the school art festival all her life and began to be keen on band activities. At that time, as the lead voice, he imitated the works of bands such as Buwei and gradually played the role of guitarist.

After entering the university, Sugiyama formed his own pop band, wrote his own lyrics, and served as guitarist and lead singer. By that time, he had created more than 50 works by himself. After graduating from college, I worked as an English tutor while waiting for the opportunity to make a professional debut. So one day (1997), his demo was appreciated and introduced by SHINYA KIMURA, and he became a full member of the third generation wand.

1997, Show Wesugi, the second lead singer, and Shibasaki Hiroshi, the guitarist, quit WANDS on the grounds of different musical ideas. Wanders is in do or die. But SHINYA KIMURA, who was alone, didn't break up the band, but decided to continue the activity. After that, Sugiyama and Kujiro joined the Wand Team (Phase III).

In 2000, after the dissolution of the Wand Band, Sugiyama participated in the TV performances and solo activities of B'z band members Matsumoto Takahiro and Koshi Inaba as co-guitarists. Ferrer and Kuraki Mai's concert tour; Thursday Live from Hills Bakery. Then he joined the Heart Flow War band as a guitarist.

In 2005, Yamazaki and Bunker Kobayashi, living alone, and Liu Zhan's teammates, also formed the band CANDYMAN.

In June 2009, Sugihara became a guitarist with JOJO (lead voice), K (keyboard player) and S.Toda (drummer) in the name of Sugihara. It is worth mentioning here that K, the keyboard player whose real identity is unknown so far, has never shown his true face. His initials and date of birth are the same as those of SHINYA KIMURA, the original keyboard player of Wand Band.

At the end of 2009, Sugiyama held her first live performance, published her own original songs, and released songs and videos that were not made public during the third phase of WANDS.
