Southwest Jiaotong University, founded in 1896, is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in modern China. School of Economics and Management of Southwest Jiaotong University was established in 1984. It is one of the most comprehensive colleges of Southwest Jiaotong University, with the earliest authorized doctoral degree point and postdoctoral mobile station in the first-level discipline of "Management Science and Engineering" in Southwest China. At present, the college has two first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points and postdoctoral mobile stations, four first-class discipline master degree authorization points and five professional master degree authorization points. Project introduction
In July 2009, with the official approval of the Ministry of Education and the State Council Academic Degree Office, the executive master of business administration (EMBA) program of Southwest Jiaotong University began to enroll students. Since the establishment of the project, the college has taken "industry-oriented" as the main strategy of the project, relying on the academic advantages and reputation of Southwest Jiaotong University in transportation and engineering to attract senior managers from related industries to join the EMBA project. Training evaluation
The basic educational system of EMBA is 2 years, and the study period is 2-5 years.

Learning style
Classes are held for 4 days every month (usually from Thursday to Sunday). According to the characteristics of on-the-job learning of senior managers, various teaching methods, such as classroom teaching, case discussion, mobile classroom, enterprise visit, academic lectures and famous forum, are adopted, with case teaching as the main method.
The EMBA class is equipped with 1-2 experienced full-time class teachers, who are responsible for the work of EMBA students from enrollment to graduation.

Students can apply for dissertation defense after completing the credits and training links specified in the training program within the specified study period.
