Chengdu University of Technology Engineering and Technology College, referred to as Licheng Project, is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is a private full-time general college focusing on engineering. It was founded in 2000 by Southwest Institute of Physics of China Nuclear Industry and Chengdu University of Technology in the largest controlled nuclear fusion experimental base in Asia. It is the only university directly affiliated to China's nuclear industry and the first independent college approved by the Ministry of Education.
