What universities are there in Shanghai?
Shanghai has Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University and East China Normal University.

1, Fudan University

Fudan University, referred to as "Fudan" for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and is affiliated to "2 1 1" and "985" double-class colleges. Its predecessor was Fudan Public School founded in 1905, one of the earliest private institutions of higher learning in China, and the top comprehensive research university in China.

2. Shanghai Jiaotong University

Shanghai Jiaotong University, referred to as "Shanghai Jiaotong University" for short, is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China. Formerly known as Nanyang Public School, it was founded in 1896 and later renamed national chiao tung university. In 2005, it merged with the former Shanghai Second Medical University to become the new Shanghai Jiaotong University.

3.tongji university

Tongji University, referred to as Tongji for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a two-class college of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". Founded by German doctor Porun erich in 1907, 1923 was officially named Tongji University, one of the earliest seven national universities in China.

4. East China Normal University

East China Normal University, referred to as "East China Normal University" for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and is a double-class college of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". Founded in 195 1 year, after years of development, it merged a number of universities and established a new East China Normal University.
