On June 4th, 20021,official website, the Ministry of Education issued the "Announcement on Approving the Establishment of Undergraduate Colleges and Universities", intending to approve the merger of Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University and Jiangsu Vocational College of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology into Jiangsu Vocational College of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology. On June 8, 20021year, according to the announcement of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Jiangsu Province suspended the merger and transformation of independent colleges and higher vocational colleges. After research by Nanjing Normal University, it was decided to terminate the merger transfer between Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University and higher vocational colleges, and not to transfer to vocational education undergraduate.
