The college has three undergraduate majors: navigation technology, transportation (international shipping management) and logistics management, as well as a master's major in "traffic information engineering and control", with nearly 2,400 full-time students. The main goal of navigation technology specialty is to cultivate advanced navigation technology talents with stable professional thinking, strict discipline, hard work and strong post adaptability, and students are semi-militarized management. Transportation major (international shipping management direction) relies on the advantages of maritime technology major, bases on shipping, and focuses on international shipping management to cultivate advanced applied talents who are competent for the management of port and shipping enterprises and institutions. Logistics management specialty conforms to the needs of the rapid development of logistics industry and cultivates advanced applied talents who are competent for modern logistics management.
