Qingdao Port Vocational and Technical College is located in Qingdao West Coast Economic New Zone. It was established by the Ministry of Communications on 1975. Now sponsored by Qingdao Port (Group) Co., Ltd., it is a state-owned public full-time higher vocational college.

The College innovates a diversified talent training mode characterized by "school-enterprise interaction", takes professional ability and professionalism as the curriculum reform standards, realizes the docking of professional courses and professional standards, selects teaching contents based on real cases and projects, and builds 43 national and provincial high-quality resource courses.
