1 Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. On May 26th, 2000, it was formed by the merger of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University and Wuhan Institute of Urban Construction. It is one of the national key construction universities of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project", and it is the first batch of "double first-class" construction universities.

The school campus covers an area of more than 7,000 mu, with lush trees and lush grass, elegant environment and beautiful scenery, with a green coverage rate of 72%. It is called "Forest University". The school has a complete teaching and research support system and complete public service facilities.

2. Wuhan University

Wuhan University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national key construction university in the "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", and the first batch of "double first-class" universities.

The history of Wuhan University can be traced back to 1893. Zhang Zhidong, Governor of Huguang, founded the School of Self-improvement at the invitation of the Qing government. After inheritance and evolution, it was named National Wuhan University in 1928, which was the first batch of national universities in modern China. From 65438 to 0946, the school formed six colleges: arts, law, science, engineering, agriculture and medicine.

3. Huazhong Agricultural University

The school's predecessor was Hubei Agricultural School founded by Zhang Zhidong, Governor of Huguang in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, on 1898. After several evolutions, from 65438 to 0952, Huazhong Agricultural College was established in all departments of Agricultural College of Wuhan University, Hubei Agricultural College and some departments of Agricultural College of six comprehensive universities such as Sun Yat-sen University. 1979, approved by the State Council as a national key university, directly under the Ministry of Agriculture. 1985, renamed Huazhong Agricultural University. In 2000, it was placed under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education from the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2005, it entered the national "2 1 1 project" construction ranks. 20 17 was listed in the national "double first-class" construction ranks.
