The music performance major of Changchun University was founded on1987,2001and began to recruit undergraduates. It was revoked from this department in 2005 and established in February. Now there are two majors: music performance and musicology. Music performance majors include vocal music (bel canto, ethnic group and pop), orchestral music, folk music, keyboard and piano tuning.
