The national student loan that students apply to the handling bank through the local student financial assistance management center at or above the county level is called the national student loan in the place of origin.

Article 5 The scope and standards of funding for ordinary institutions of higher learning include:
(1) National scholarship for junior college students. Excellent full-time junior college students will be awarded, with 60,000 students each year, and each student will receive 8,000 yuan per year.
(2) National inspirational scholarship for junior college students. Reward full-time undergraduate students with financial difficulties and excellent academic performance. The scope of undergraduate funding is about 3% of the total number of full-time undergraduate students in ordinary colleges and universities in China, and the scope of funding for higher vocational students is about 3.3% of the total number of full-time higher vocational students in ordinary colleges and universities in China, with 5,000 yuan per student per year.
(3) National grants for junior college students. Full-time undergraduate students with financial difficulties (including preparatory students, excluding retired soldiers) are given financial assistance. The scope of undergraduate funding is about 20% of the total number of full-time undergraduate students in ordinary colleges and universities in China, and the scope of funding for higher vocational students is about 22% of the total number of full-time higher vocational students in ordinary colleges and universities in China. The average subsidy standard is 3300 yuan per student per year. The specific standards are determined by colleges and universities in the range of 2000-4500 yuan per student per year, divided into 2-3 grades. Full-time retired soldiers and students in school enjoy the national junior college student grant, and the funding standard is 3300 yuan per student per year.
(4) National scholarship for graduate students. Reward outstanding full-time graduate students, with an annual reward of 45,000. Among them: 35,000 graduate students, each with an annual income of 20,000 yuan; PhD students 1 1,000 students, with an average of 30,000 yuan per year.
(5) Postgraduate scholarships. Full-time graduate students in central universities will be rewarded, and the central government will provide support according to the standards of 8,000 yuan per graduate student, 0/10,000 yuan per doctoral student and a certain proportion of students.
