Brief introduction of Jilin Agricultural University:

1. Jilin Agricultural University is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is a provincial key university in Jilin Province, which was jointly built by the Jilin Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture, and was selected as a basic capacity-building project for universities in the central and western regions.

2. Jilin Agricultural University was founded in 1948, and its predecessor was Heilongjiang Agricultural Cadre School. 1956 was renamed Bei 'an Agricultural College with the approval of the State Council. 1958 In April, Changchun Agricultural College merged with Changchun Animal Husbandry and Veterinary University and the preparatory office of Changchun Agricultural College. 1959 Changchun Agricultural Mechanization College was merged into Changchun Agricultural College in March, and was renamed Jilin Agricultural University in June of the same year.

3. Jilin Agricultural University covers an area of 3 19.02 hectares, with a total construction area of 802,000 square meters and a library of 2,466,800 books; * * * faculty 1838.
