At present, the first round of application for studying in the UK has almost ended, and students are waiting for the arrival of the offer, but what is the difference between the offer in the UK and CAS? Usually, British universities will OFFER two kinds of OFFERs to applicants, one is a conditional offer and the other is an unconditional offer. CAS is an electronic admission notice from British universities and a special electronic reference number issued by British universities to students.
What are the forms of offer?
In addition to the original offer, the offer notice of British universities generally includes two electronic forms:
The file formats of 1, PDF, WORD and JPG of the original quotation mainly exist in the form of email attachments, and the typesetting style is completely consistent with the original quotation;
2. The email content of the original offer mainly describes the words and pictures on the original offer through the direct text content of the email. The typesetting is roughly the same as the original, but there may be some changes.
What's the difference between offer and CAS?
British university offer is an intention of the school to accept students' applications. After the students submit the application materials to the school, they can get the unconditional admission notice from the school, that is, the unconditional admission notice.
CAS is a confirmation letter issued by the university to students after they accept the offer from the British university and pay the first tuition advance to the school, so as to keep their degrees.
To obtain CAS, two conditions need to be met:
1. After paying the tuition fee, the offer of the British university is still valid (it is generally required to be confirmed within 4-6 weeks);
2. After paying the tuition fee, there are still vacancies in the applied major. Just because you get an offer from a British university doesn't mean you are admitted to the school. Only by paying tuition fees in exchange for CAS can we be sure to be admitted in the true sense.
How to accept the admission notice?
Once a British university sends you a notice, you will be asked to accept it as soon as possible.
In the unconditional admission notice, British universities will also tell you how to check some necessary personal information, so that all your information is correct when the British universities issue CAS to you. Only if CAS contains correct information can you apply for a student visa.
You can't get CAS until you pay the required fees and deposit and complete the CAS information check.
How to pay the fee and deposit?
Before the school issues CAS, all overseas students have to pay a tuition deposit of 4,000 pounds.
All students who need to enter the language preparation course need to pay tuition and accommodation fees and a deposit of 4,000 pounds for the degree course during the language preparation course.
Students can pay the remaining tuition fees beyond the deposit of 4000 pounds when they enter the school newspaper. If you have to attend a language preparation course before the degree course, you will receive an unconditional acceptance notice for the language preparation course.
The notice will tell you how to pay for the accommodation during the language preparation course and the language course, and how to pay the deposit.
