Everyone has been chasing his own destiny all his life, but our life seems to be a one-way street, and we can never turn back. The movie "The Kite Runner" leads the whole story with a kite, which is the expectation of the protagonist Amir in his childhood, and it is also a shackle on his growth path. How will he atone for the mistakes he made because of cowardice?
Based on the chaos in Afghanistan, the film tells the story of Amir, a rich Afghan young master of 12 years old, and his servant Hassan. However, after a kite competition, tragedy happened. Amir felt remorse and pain for his cowardice and drove Hassan away. Soon, he fled to America with his father.
As an adult, Amir can never forgive his betrayal of Hassan. When he received a phone call from Rahim Khan and learned that Hassan was his half-brother, he blamed himself. In order to atone, Amir once again set foot on his hometown for more than 20 years, hoping to make a final effort for the unfortunate Hassan and bring him back to the United States after finding Hassan's son Solabo through difficulties and obstacles. Solabo stopped communicating with anyone because of his emotional injury. On the evening of September, 2000 1 1, in a park, Solabo finally smiled at Amir who was chasing kites. Amir followed Hassan's example and shouted "For you, Qian Qian for a thousand times", thus completing his self-salvation.
Throughout the movie, Amir never seems to regard Hassan as his friend, but only as a rogue. After fighting for him, Amir always used cowardice to avoid his father's eyes. Although his father knew his cowardice, he showed Amir what a man should look like with his words and deeds.
And the reason why Amir completed self-salvation for a long time, we can also see from the movie:
1, the difference in identity makes their cognition of friends different. Hassan said to Amir: For you, Qian Qian and Qian Qian have done it a million times. When he was young, Amir didn't feel wrong in the face of Hassan's constant efforts and took it for granted.
Years of war in Afghanistan have pulled them apart and completely changed their lives. Amir finished his college studies in the United States and realized his dream as a writer, while Hassan took refuge in war-torn Afghanistan until he was shot in the street.
3. The death of his father made Amir learn to face his family as a man and learn to take responsibility. His father has taken care of him since childhood. Later, after his father fell ill, he took care of his father and began to learn to take on family responsibilities. After Amir got married, his father died soon. Amir also began to constantly examine the mistakes he made when he was young, until he received a phone call from his good friend Rahim Khan, which finally made him summon up the courage to complete the redemption.
Each of us has a kite in our hearts. For it, we have been chasing. Under the arrangement of fate, we have no hesitation. Maybe we are black and blue, but we really understand the true meaning of life.
I hope everyone can meet someone who is willing to fly kites for us thousands of times. I hope everyone can look up at the blue sky, stand firm, bravely pursue their dreams with a heart full of love and hope, and become the person they want to be, with no regrets.
