Yanshan Mountain Range, formerly known as Yanshan Mountain Range, is located on the north side of Hebei Plain in China, from Chaobai River Basin to Shanhaiguan, and the mountain ranges from east to west. Yanshan Mountain is one of the famous mountains in northern China, with an altitude of 500 to1500m.
Seven old Tushan and Nuru Hushan are connected to the north and Hebei Plain to the south, with great height difference. Luanhe River cut off this mountain to form a canyon, and xifengkou and Chaohe River cut off to form Gubeikou. It has been a north-south traffic tunnel since ancient times. Yanshan mountain range is eroded and denuded by Zhongshan mountain range, which is low mountain and hilly, high in the north and low in the south. There are Wu Yun, Wuling Mountain, Dushan and Du Jun. The main peak of Wuling Mountain is 2116m above sea level.
Many basins and valleys in Chengde, Pingquan, Luanping, Xinglong and Kuancheng, Zunhua, Qianxi and other mountainous areas are the main agricultural areas of Yanshan Mountains. The geological structure of Yanshan mountain range is extremely complex, including typical karst stalactite strata, limestone layers and quartzite, thousands of shale, slate, marine erosion rocks and sedimentary rocks.

Yanshan mountain range is located in the continental monsoon climate zone of warm temperate zone. The annual precipitation is about 700 mm, and the hydraulic erosion is strong.
