The innovative team of dermatogenetics of Anhui Medical University, after nearly two years' efforts, discovered the susceptibility genes of psoriasis. This is also the first time that Chinese scientists have discovered disease susceptibility genes.
Psoriasis, commonly known as "psoriasis", is a common and complicated skin disease, and its cause is being studied by the medical community all over the world. The innovative team of dermatogenetics, led by Professor Zhang Xuejun of Anhui Medical University, used China Han and Uygur population 1500 cases of psoriasis, and found that LCE gene was the susceptible gene of psoriasis by genome-wide association studies method, which laid an important foundation for the follow-up drug research and development.
