Constitution of Wuhan University Memory Association
Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 The name of this Association is Wuhan University Student Memory Association.

Article 2 Nature of this Association: This Association is an academic student association engaged in memory training and intellectual development research.

Article 3 The purpose of this association is to improve students' interest in learning, study happily and remember easily. Its important mission is to introduce the advanced memory and thinking modes in the world today and apply them to practice. It aims to create a platform for teachers and students to exchange learning experience and explore memory skills, enrich students' lives, spread efficient ideas and promote progress.

Article 4 The Association shall join the Federation of Student Associations of Wuhan University as a group and accept the supervision and management of the Youth League Committee and the Federation of Associations of Wuhan University.

Chapter II Contents and Forms of Activities

Article 5 The activities of this Association include:

(1) Introduce the background of latent memory method and Chinese mind map, and show its magical memory effect;

(2) How to apply memory and thinking methods to study and work practice through lectures;

(3) Provide a platform for exchanging learning experience and memory skills in the form of a salon;

(4) Establish logs and web pages, collect all kinds of creative and practical learning and memory skills, introduce all kinds of books and websites that are helpful for learning, and realize the enjoyment of resources;

(5) Developing the competition of latent memory and mind map, improving the interest in learning, and tapping the latent memory talent;

(6) Strengthen exchanges and cooperation with brothers' associations to improve the development level of brain sports in our school.

Chapter III Members

Article 6 Members of this Association are individual members.

Article 7 Anyone who meets the following conditions can become a member of Wuhan University Memory Association:

Wuhan University is a full-time college student.

Article 8 Anyone who meets Article 7 will become a member of the Association after contacting the College Students' Memory Association of Wuhan University, acknowledging its articles of association, filling in an application form for membership and obtaining a membership card with the consent of the Council.

Article 9 Members shall enjoy the following rights

(1) Having the right to vote and stand for election when electing members of the Institute;

(2) Participating in various activities organized by the seminar;

(three) give priority to the relevant publications and materials of the seminar;

(four) to criticize and supervise the work of the association.

(5) Freedom to join and quit voluntarily.

Article 10 Obligations of Members

(1) Support the articles of association of this Association.

(two) to implement the resolutions of this Council.

(three) to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of this association.

(four) to complete the work assigned by the association.

(five) to pay the membership fee according to the regulations.

(6) Respect the instructor and actively cooperate with the arrangement of the instructor.

(seven) to reflect the situation to the association and provide relevant information.

Article 11 Members shall notify the Association in writing and return their membership cards.

Article 12 If a member violates the purpose of this Association or damages its reputation, the Standing Council will vote to cancel or suspend its membership.

Chapter IV Establishment and Cancellation of Institutions and Responsible Persons

Thirteenth the highest authority of this association is the general meeting of members, and its functions and powers are:

(1) To formulate and revise the articles of association.

(2) Electing and dismissing directors.

(3) To consider the work report and financial report of the Council.

(4) Deciding to terminate and other matters.

Article 14 The general meeting of members shall be attended by more than two thirds of the members, and its resolution shall be valid only if more than half of the members present vote.

Article 15 The general meeting of members shall be held once a year. If it is necessary to advance or postpone the general election due to special circumstances, it shall be decided by the board of directors and reported to the Youth League Committee of the school for approval. However, the term of office shall not be extended for more than one year.

Article 16 The Association shall have a board of directors, which shall be composed of several directors.

Article 17 An association shall be elected by the members of the association through consultation. Each director's term of office is one year and can be re-elected, but the term of office should overlap with that of the president and vice president.

Article 18 Duties of the Council

(1) Association of Foreign Representatives;

(two) to elect the president and vice president, and agree on the distribution of the members of the next Council;

(three) to discuss and decide on the working principles, plans and major issues of this association;

(4) Explain and modify the articles of association of Wuhan University Student Memory Association.

(five) to report the work and financial situation to the general assembly;

(six) to prepare for the convening of the members' congress;

Article 19 The functions and powers of the Council are:

(a) to implement the resolutions of the members' congress;

(two) to elect and recall the president and vice president, and to hire an honorary president;

(three) to decide on the absorption or removal of important members;

(four) to determine the person in charge of each department and carry out the work;

(five) to formulate internal management system;

(six) to decide on other major issues.

Article 20 The board of directors shall be convened only when more than two-thirds of the directors are present, and its resolution shall take effect only if it is passed by more than12 of the directors present.

Article 21 The board of directors shall hold at least two full board meetings each semester. The temporary meeting shall be convened by the President, and if necessary, in the form of instant messaging.

Article 22 An association shall have a president, a vice-president and a secretary-general. The president, the vice-president and the secretary-general are the main persons in charge of the association.

(1) authority of the president: responsible for the main organization and management of the association, handling major internal affairs, and being the plenipotentiary representative of the association.

(2) Vice-President's authority: Assist the President to handle daily affairs and exercise his authority in the absence of the President.

(3) Secretary-General's position: assisting the President in handling daily affairs and leading the work of the Secretariat.

Twenty-third each department has two directors, the establishment and authority of the department:

(1) functions and powers of the secretariat: responsible for the registration and file management of new members, and the production, distribution and replacement of membership cards; Responsible for fund management and attendance; Report the work regularly.

(2) Authority of planning department: responsible for organizing latent memory training and mind mapping.

(3) Authority of the Propaganda Department: Responsible for all propaganda work.

(5) The functions and powers of the International Liaison Department: organizing various activities and contacting teachers, other associations, departments and sponsors.

Article 24 The Association shall have an honorary president.

Chapter V Funds

Twenty-fifth sources of funding for this Association:

(1) membership fee.

(2) Funds allocated by the school.

(3) Sponsorship by organizations and individuals inside and outside the school.

(4) Other lawful income.

Chapter VI Procedures for Amending the Articles of Association

Twenty-sixth amendments to the articles of association must be approved by the Council and reported to the members' congress for deliberation.

Article 27 The revised articles of association of this Association shall, in principle, take effect after being adopted and approved by the members' congress. Due to special circumstances, it cannot be discussed at the members' congress, which can be reported after being approved by the Council and announced at the members' congress as soon as possible.

Chapter VII Termination Procedure and Property Disposal after Termination

Article 28 If it needs to be revoked for various reasons, the Council shall propose a termination motion.

Article 29 The motion to terminate the association shall be passed by the general meeting of members.

Article 30 Before the termination of this Association, a liquidation organization shall be established under the guidance of the Council to clean up the creditor's rights and debts and deal with the aftermath. During the liquidation period, no activities other than liquidation will be carried out.

Article 31 The remaining property after the termination of this Association shall be used for the development of undertakings related to the purposes of this Association in accordance with relevant regulations under the supervision of the Council and the Youth League Committee.

Chapter VIII Supplementary Provisions

Article 32 The Articles of Association was adopted by the shareholders' meeting on September 6, 2007.

Article 33 The right to interpret the Articles of Association belongs to the Council of the Association.

Article 34 The Articles of Association shall come into force as of the date of approval by the Youth League Committee of Wuhan University.
