1, Hainan University: it is a comprehensive key university in Hainan Province, a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance of Hainan Province, a national "2 1 1 project" key university, a national "comprehensive strength improvement project for central and western universities", and a major member of the "Central and Western University Alliance".

2. Hainan Normal University: It is a multi-disciplinary provincial key normal university focusing on teacher education, and was selected as an excellent teacher training program.

3. Hainan Medical College: Hainan Medical College was established with the approval of the Education Commission of the People's Republic of China 1993, and is under the supervision of Hainan Provincial People's Government. It is the only provincial public medical college in Hainan Province and a pilot university of "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program".

Hainan Tropical Ocean University: It is a full-time public undergraduate provincial university jointly established by Hainan Provincial People's Government, State Oceanic Administration, China Offshore Oil Corporation, Sanya City and Sansha City.
