NYU Shanghai is located in Shanghai, China.

It is a research university with independent legal person status jointly organized by new york University and East China Normal University in China. It is the first international university in China with independent legal personality and the right to confer degrees officially approved by the Ministry of Education. It is also an indispensable part of the global education system of new york University.

Nyu shanghai, founded on 20 12, is a university jointly run by East China Normal University in China and new york University in the United States, referred to as "Shanghai University" for short, and it is also the first university jointly run by China and the United States.

Nyu shanghai is basically the first batch of students in China, so we usually regard nyu shanghai as a university.
