Different historical background: Shi Jing Wentong Museum was founded in 1862, which was a foreign language school in Qing Dynasty. Shi Jing University Hall, founded in 1898, is a national comprehensive university founded in the late Qing Dynasty. During the Republic of China, Shi Jing University Hall was renamed the National Peking University.
