Can I get a marriage certificate at school if I have a hukou?
Yes, but you need to contact the household registration department of the school, but in general, you need to move out to apply for a marriage certificate. The school has no obligation to keep files for students who have graduated. The school should have a registration form for permanent residents given by the school, and that's your hukou. If not, go to the civil affairs department where the school account is located to register for marriage.

Specific procedures for handling marriage certificates:

1. Both men and women apply for marriage registration in person at the civil affairs bureau where one of them is registered;

2. Submit the household registration books and identity cards of both parties, signed statements that I have no spouse, no direct blood relationship with the other party and collateral blood relationship within three generations, and three 2-inch recent half-length bareheaded photos;

Article 4

When mainland residents get married, both men and women should go to the marriage registration office where one of them has a permanent residence. If a China citizen marries a foreigner in the Mainland, and a mainland resident marries a Hong Kong resident, a Macao resident, a Taiwan Province resident or an overseas Chinese in the Mainland, both men and women shall * * * go through the marriage registration office where the permanent residence of the mainland resident is located.
