Suzhou Automobile Research Institute of Tsinghua University was established in July, 20 1 1. It is a comprehensive industrial research institute for research and development of automotive application technology, high-end industrial services and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

The Institute focuses on three major themes of automobiles: safety, energy saving and environmental protection, focusing on new energy vehicles, automotive electronics and control, automotive NVH and lightweight design, automotive materials and manufacturing, and macro-development strategies of the automotive industry.

2. Jointly establish an open scientific research platform and testing platform to provide comprehensive services such as R&D, design, testing and consulting for the development of the industry.
