In order to facilitate students' self-study and after-class reading, we add notes to each article, and attach answers, problem analysis and reference translations to the article for readers to learn by themselves.

This set of teaching materials also has two characteristics: first, the length of articles is gradually increased from short to long, and each of the third and fourth volumes is expanded to 800 or even 1000 words, so as to gradually improve students' reading speed and reading ability to meet the needs of CET-4; Second, in order to deepen students' understanding and memory, we attach five questions to each article for students to practice and practice. Some articles are not too long and are suitable for students to read after class. It takes 5-8 minutes to read the two articles, including the accompanying exercises.
