Concord college of Fujian Normal University, an independent college jointly sponsored by Fujian Normal University and related enterprises and institutions, has been awarded honorary titles such as "National Model Worker Family", "Fujian Advanced Grassroots Party Organization" and "Fujian May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee", and is a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance.

The school was established in April 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is the first independent college approved by the Ministry of Education in February 2003.

Yang-en university was founded in 1987, invested by Yang En Foundation and founded by patriotic overseas Chinese Wu Qingxing. The school was formerly Yan 'en College of Huaqiao University. 1989 approved by the State Education Commission, it was restructured from Huaqiao University and established as Yan 'en College. 1992 changed its name to yang-en university.
