CET-6 starts in late June every year, usually on Saturday one week after CET-4 and CET-6, and the place is Tongji University. In principle, the exam requires a certificate of 600 hours of German.

1. At present, this exam is only conducted in Tongji University, and it is recognized by Tongji University's brother colleges. For example: darmstadt University, Ruhr University in Bochum, Technical University of Berlin, technical university of munich, University of Constance. The exam requires candidates to master 3000 ~ 4000 basic German words.

2. The examination content consists of five parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, translation and written expression.
