Dear college leaders,
Hello!
I am a student in Class 6 of International Economics and Trade. Because my family is in the countryside, my parents are farmers, and there are two students studying in two schools and one in high school, so I want to apply for a grant from the state, hoping to get help from the state.
I was born in a family of seven, and it was very difficult for my parents to raise us. However, because the college entrance examination was not ideal, my sister and I only got two grades, and as we all know, our current education has a great influence on our job search, so our parents chose to let us study undergraduate.
20xx years ago, I was the only one in my family who had two books and could barely afford them. But this year, my sister also took two books, and the tuition fee of more than 30 thousand was beyond the parents' ability. After graduating from college, the two sisters worked for several years and also had their own families, expenses and burdens. The burden is still on their parents.
In my spare time, I also do some part-time jobs to reduce the burden on my parents, but these are insignificant compared with the tuition of tens of thousands of yuan, and can only be regarded as my usual living expenses. To make matters worse, my sister's stomach is not good, and she often needs to see a doctor. My brother's nose is not optimistic, and there are still some breathing problems after the operation last year, which has become another burden at home.
I know it is not easy for parents to provide us with education. In the past two years, I have tried to do better in all aspects and paid more than other students. I am now applying for state funding. Let me introduce my basic situation as a reference for leaders' evaluation.
1. Ideologically: I am proactive. At the beginning of admission, I submitted an application for joining the party to the party organization and actively moved closer to the party organization. In the past two years, I was honored to be an activist of joining the Party, participated in the training of the Party School, and passed the exam with my own efforts and the help of my teachers and classmates. After that, I was more strict with myself, diligent in work, rigorous in life style, consciously abide by the rules and regulations of the school, strive to be a model student and play an exemplary role.
2. Work: In my spare time in college, I actively participate in community activities and voluntary activities. I also do part-time jobs after school and on weekends, and also participate in some competitions held by schools or society to improve my ability. In these activities, I exercised my ability, broadened my horizons and further laid a solid foundation for future development.
As a class cadre, learn from others with an open mind, correct mistakes, and listen to and adopt good suggestions from teachers and classmates. I always aim at serving my classmates and try my best to serve the class. In the face of interests, I insist on putting the interests of most students first, and never seek personal gain for the public, so as to win everyone's respect and support.
Three. Learning: In learning, I am aggressive and have never relaxed my study of this professional knowledge. I have always maintained a correct and modest learning attitude in class, actively cooperated with teachers' teaching, and strived to improve my literary accomplishment and personality cultivation. Through hard work, I won the first-class scholarship of Southern College of Sun Yat-sen University in the first semester of my freshman year.
Usually, I will consciously study knowledge that is not in the textbook, and I will go to the library to read various books, newspapers and magazines in my spare time. And look up information on the internet to enrich themselves and supplement the shortcomings of existing knowledge. I know that I still need to improve in many aspects, and I will develop better in the future, and strive to be an all-round social newcomer.
Life: I was born and raised in the countryside. In my life, I am thrifty, simple, good in style, cheerful, strict with myself and tolerant of others. In college life, I always treat people and things with a sincere heart and gain the trust of teachers and classmates. Although I didn't make myself perfect in college, I learned a lot from my study and life in college, how to face people around me, how to deal with things and so on.
In order to better face the university without walls in the future, I will constantly recharge myself, give full play to my advantages, face up to and overcome my shortcomings, and strive for continuous success in the fierce social competition. I believe that only by grasping today and working hard can we make continuous progress in our future study, work and life and create new glories.
Because my family is poor, I specially applied for a national grant from the school, which not only helped me a lot financially, but also affirmed my academic performance, work ability and comprehensive quality. If the superior can give me this honor, it will be a great encouragement to me and will inspire me to work harder, do better and make greater contributions to society in the future!
I am here to convey
Salute!
