Yang-en university Yang 'en Foundation was established in 1987. It was founded by Mr. Wu Qingxing, a patriotic overseas Chinese, and his family. It is the first private university in China with the qualification of issuing national undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree.
The school covers an area of more than 2000 mu, and the campus is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with good results, and became the first private university in Fujian Province to pass the undergraduate teaching level evaluation.
The school has successively won nearly 30 national, provincial and municipal honorary titles such as China Overseas Chinese Federation Patriotism Education Base, Fujian Education System Patriotism Education Base, Fujian Advanced College of Party Building and Ideological and Political Work, Fujian Safe Campus, Honest and Trustworthy Demonstration Unit and National Defense Education Characteristic School.

Yang-en university has a complete practical teaching system. Professional laboratories, virtual simulation laboratories, entrepreneurial laboratories and training centers basically cover related majors.
It has four provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, namely, the economic and financial experimental teaching demonstration center, the news media experimental teaching demonstration center, the comprehensive experimental teaching demonstration center of economic management innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the interdisciplinary experimental teaching demonstration center of Internet of Things personnel training.
The cultural and creative virtual simulation experimental teaching center was selected as the provincial virtual simulation experimental teaching center, and the experimental teaching platform of signal and system basic course was selected as the provincial basic course experimental teaching platform project.
Schools and nearly 100 enterprises and institutions have established teaching practice and training bases. Among them, "yang-en university University of Economics-Hua Fu Securities Co., Ltd. Business Department Practice Teaching Base" and "Yangen-Yuanhe Creative Industry Park Practice Teaching Base" were identified as provincial-level school-enterprise cooperation practice teaching bases.
"yang-en university-Basic Police Camp Practice Teaching Base" and "yang-en university-Hui 'an Love Society Volunteer Service Practice Base" are social practice bases for college students in Fujian Province. Together with Xiamen University and other universities, our school has become the executive director of the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Alliance.
