Qingdao University of Technology is a provincial key university in Shandong Province, a high-level university with strong characteristics and a well-known applied talent training school in Shandong Province. Graduate students are exempt from examination, and they are members of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance, a "provincial first-class discipline" construction university. The School of Extended Information originated from Lixian College and was established in 1900. 193 1 was founded in the high-tech department of Lixian Middle School, and 1953 was formally established as "Qingdao Architectural Engineering School in Shandong Province". June 1960, upgraded to "Shandong Metallurgical Institute" and began to recruit undergraduates. 1978 was renamed as "Shandong Institute of Metallurgical Industry", and in September 1985 it was renamed as "Qingdao Institute of Architecture and Engineering". 1993 was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as a master's degree awarding unit. The school belongs to the former Ministry of Heavy Industry and the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. As of March, 20021,the school has three campuses, namely Shibei, Huangdao and Linyi, covering an area of about 2165,500 square meters. It has 13 teaching colleges and a complete talent training system for undergraduate, master and doctoral degrees, covering 7 disciplines such as science, engineering, economics, law and literature, 2 first-class postdoctoral research stations, 2 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, and 2 1 first-class disciplines authorized by master degrees.1/kloc-
