Taoist college should not be a real "degree". So what qualifications do monks have?
Your question should be two questions.

(1) is a real degree, such as Qingcheng Mountain Taoist College, China Taoist College and Wudang Mountain Taoist College. There are undergraduate students, junior college students and Taoist graduate students, all of which are certified by the state. Of course, the undergraduate students of Taoist College seem to know nothing except internal study of Taoism.

(2) You don't have to study in Taoism to become a monk. A monk's education level is uneven and he has never read a book. He has been a monk for decades, with a primary school education, a junior high school education, a high school education and a bachelor's degree. Now, if you are a monk, there is not much requirement for his academic qualifications, but the classics are all words, at least you should be able to read them.
