Kunming City University (formerly Yunnan Normal University Business School) was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in June 2000. It is one of the first independent colleges in Yunnan Province and belongs to the undergraduate level of general higher education. Enrollment began in July 20001year, and was transferred to Kunming city college with the approval of the Ministry of education in June 20021year.
