After learning the above situation, I took the initiative to talk to Wang Gang again and patiently explained to him the harm of infatuation with the internet, hoping that Wang Gang would correct his attitude and quit Internet addiction. Wang's attitude is sincere. He said he would correct his mistakes and start studying hard again. However, this heart-to-heart effect lasted only one day, and Wang began his game life again. In view of the failure of this conversation, after careful consideration, I chose to learn about Wang's family and daily life from my parents and classmates first. After investigation, I got a better understanding of Wang's personal situation, which also found a certain basis and foundation for the next conversation and increased my confidence in the success of the next conversation. After full preparation, I chose a suitable opportunity to find Wang. In this conversation, I no longer ask about my study and life, but first ask Wang to tell me why he is addicted to online games and how he feels in them. Through heart-to-heart, I learned that although I studied hard before, my grades have been at a medium level in my class, and I didn't meet the requirement of "being among the best", so I have no sense of accomplishment. In particular, college study is not as busy and tense as high school. By chance, he came into contact with online games. The strange pictures in the game and the sense of accomplishment from one level to another attracted him deeply and he couldn't extricate himself. After listening to Wang's statement, I told him the positive impressions of his parents and classmates, and explained to him the expectations of his parents, teachers and classmates. After hearing this, Wang was really moved. He promised me in front of me that he would never indulge in online games again, so he should cheer up and transfer his energy to his studies.
