College students' mental health questionnaire survey 2 Abstract: College students are high-level talents trained by colleges and universities, and their health is related to the future of the country and the nation. With the expansion of colleges and universities, the number of college students has increased rapidly, and at the same time, the mental health problems of college students have become increasingly prominent. In this period, college students are not yet mature. On the one hand, they have to face various problems in their own development, on the other hand, they have to adapt to various challenges brought about by the development of the times and social changes, which easily leads to the imbalance of psychological load and psychological endurance and various abnormal psychological phenomena. In order to better understand the mental health status of college students and better solve the psychological problems of some college students in our department, our department conducted a questionnaire survey on hot issues among college students on 20 12/ 10/28. Because of the problems closely related to college students, all the students participated in the questionnaire survey enthusiastically and actively.
Keywords: questionnaire survey of college students' mental health problems
I. Composition of the questionnaire
The questionnaire includes 18 questions about some common psychological problems of college students. This time * * * distributed 400 questionnaires, and 400 were recovered, with a recovery rate of 100%. Among the questionnaires collected, the effective rate was 94%, including freshman 100, sophomore 100, junior 100 and senior 100.
Second, the questionnaire analysis
Questionnaire survey is a means of data collection. Through the fair distribution of questionnaires and surveys, we can see the problems reflected behind the data. The mental health of college students is directly related to the stable development of society, and it is very important to accurately understand the mental health of college students. The questionnaire will be withdrawn now, and we will summarize all the questionnaires. The problems mainly focus on the following aspects:
1, learning problem
The main task of college students is to study. What they are most concerned about is that the change and dislocation of academic performance, environment and status have brought great psychological burden to college students. After the top high school students entered the university life, the environment changed. A considerable number of students found that their advantages in high school no longer existed, and they were faced with the grim situation of re-differentiation and combination, especially those top high school students. After entering the university, every student will feel more or less out of favor. Some students forget to eat and sleep in order to keep their advantage in middle school. In addition to studying my own professional courses, I also study some courses urgently needed by society. Coupled with the pressure of minor in computer and English, they are in a state of intense war for a long time. The pressure is great and the learning effect is not good. If this goes on, they will be nervous, they will be nervous. In the survey, quite a few students feel that they have been admitted to the university? I feel relieved that the ship is close to the dock, so I can't stand studying hard even if I feel the crisis of competition and the pressure of employment.
2. Environmental changes and psychological adaptation obstacles.
In the survey, 38% of the students reported that they were very contradictory and confused because of the change of environment. Some of them show a real sense of loss. In order to motivate students to study hard, middle school teachers always like to describe universities as? Paradise on earth? Students also regard the college entrance examination as the only and ultimate goal to motivate themselves to study hard in high school. However, after students enter the university campus, they suddenly find that this is not the case. Compared with undergraduate colleges, there is still a gap in social recognition, school-running level and policy environment, which is easy to cause the feelings of higher vocational students after entering the campus. Inferiority? 、? No light on your face? . There is a psychological gap, so students have all kinds of unhealthy mentality, such as helplessness, depression, mixed diplomas, etc., which seriously affects students' self-confidence; Another part of the students showed confusion about their major study. Compared with middle school, university study has more autonomy, flexibility and exploration. After entering the university, they were at a loss for a while. Some students feel suddenly from the strict discipline in middle school? The tie is loose? I don't know how to arrange my study, which makes me depressed and anxious; There are still some students who don't adapt to the living environment. After entering the university, the transition from a small family dependent on parents to a relatively independent university collective life has psychologically produced a sense of loneliness.
A sense of emptiness.
3. Ambiguity and confusion of self-awareness.
In the survey, 26% students are confused about how to give full play to their advantages and overcome their disadvantages. Some students see some versatile and capable students in the class and feel that they are useless and inferior to others. Some students know their own shortcomings, but they don't know how to break through themselves. Teacher Ji Mei, director of the center, pointed out that in the university stage, freshmen's individual self-awareness has gradually increased, but for a long time, they have not formed a stable image about themselves, and their self-awareness is not stable enough. Seeing problems is often one-sided, subjective and psychologically fragile. Once they encounter temporary setbacks and failures, they are often discouraged and timid. Moreover, freshmen are very sensitive and care about the evaluation given by people around them. Even a casual evaluation will cause great emotional fluctuations and stress reactions in their hearts, which will shake their self-evaluation.
4. The problem of interpersonal difficulties
In the survey, more than half of the students have psychological confusion in interpersonal communication. Some students show interpersonal sensitivity. In the process of communicating with others, some frictions, conflicts and emotional injuries often occur. All these will inevitably lead to the loneliness of some students, which will lead to depression and anxiety. Some students show psychological barriers in interpersonal communication. Because of their poor language skills, they are afraid to communicate with others and close their inner emotional world. Such people are often in the contradiction of needing communication but fearing communication, which easily leads to loneliness, depression or inferiority; There are also some students who are excluded because they are unsociable and not understood by freshmen. Some of them are lonely and keep away from others. Over time, they have a psychological tendency of being left out or withdrawn and rude. In the survey, 39% of the voices think that there are no friends; 24% students feel lonely; 43% students prefer to be the object of communication rather than the direct initiator of communication. At the same time, due to the lack of normal communication between individuals, it is easy to cause suspicion and jealousy, which is extremely unfavorable to the healthy development of students' psychology. The survey shows that in interpersonal communication, 75% students feel uncomfortable and depressed when they are not understood. Some serious interpersonal problems plague some students. If these problems are not solved, the accumulation of long-term depression will have disastrous consequences. Faced with their own psychological problems, most students can face them objectively and try to find solutions. In the choice of solutions, 60% students chose the self-regulation method. It can be seen that most of the ways chosen are positive and healthy, which is also a sign of college students' increasingly mature psychology.
5. The problem of heterosexual communication
In the process of interacting with the opposite sex, most heterosexual relationships are healthy and normal, but there are still about 30% students who have problems in interacting with the opposite sex. A small number of students have impure communication motives, and even this phenomenon follows the trend. Some students introduce each other, and some students rarely communicate with the opposite sex, which leads to contradictions in communication with the opposite sex. Through investigation, freshmen have more problems in communicating with the opposite sex than seniors. For what? Do you think heterosexual communication between classmates will be love? what's up Only 6% of the students answered, which shows that college students have fully realized the great inconsistency between heterosexual communication and love communication.
6. Psychological crisis of graduation.
The survey shows that the psychological pressure of fresh graduates is much greater than that of junior students. Lack of self-reserve (including knowledge reserve, ability reserve, etc.). ) and the expectation of employment quality have become the biggest heart disease of graduates, which makes them feel anxious, inferior and insecure, and many psychological problems also arise. ? If I had to start over, I wouldn't be like this, would I? It has become the most spoken sentence by senior three students.
Due to the lack of scientific guidance, many graduates have a strong blindness, arbitrariness and conformity when choosing a job. Many students have many before graduation? Certificate? But it is not favored by employers, and even lost its way in the employment stage.
Third, some measures to solve psychological problems:
1. It is advisable for young men and women to communicate collectively. Discussions and speeches in class, after-class discussions and jokes, and extracurricular game activities all create opportunities for the opposite sex to communicate with each other. Make some introverted and unsociable students avoid the shyness and embarrassment of facing the opposite sex alone; Some students who like to communicate meet the needs of communicating with others. Everyone is integrated into a strong collective atmosphere. In the collective heterosexual communication, everyone is faced with a group of heterosexual students, who have their own strengths or humor.
Chatty, or smart and kind, or optimistic and generous, or steady and capable, which makes us broaden our horizons and minds while absorbing everyone's advantages, and avoids focusing on one opposite sex and developing into a "one-on-one" love relationship.
2. For the mental health problems caused by these jobs, I think career planning should start from freshman year. At present, many vocational guidance courses in the school are offered just before graduation, and the contents are mostly about how to make resumes and how to apply for jobs. Cramming at the last minute? This practice often has little effect. If freshmen are regarded as the first stop of college students' career planning, they can fully understand themselves, re-plan their careers, shape themselves completely and enhance their professional competitiveness according to their own characteristics and strengths, as well as the gap between their personal goals and the status quo. This can fundamentally solve students' study life at school? Loose front and tight back? Situation.
3. By holding some lectures on college students' psychological problems, please invite our mental health teachers or off-campus experts to our department to give students systematic and professional psychological counseling classes.
4. Strengthen the improvement of psychological counseling system, guide students to vent their emotions reasonably in daily life, study and work, and learn to control themselves rationally.
Fourth, summary:
To some extent, the university campus is also the epitome of a colorful and complex society. Everything is not smooth sailing, and it is inevitable to experience bumps and setbacks. Only through correct guidance and self-adjustment can you establish a correct outlook on life and values. On the one hand, we should strengthen the construction of campus culture and spiritual civilization and form a positive campus atmosphere. On the other hand, students should correctly understand some of their psychological problems, actively participate in campus activities or improve themselves through psychological counseling, and truly show the positive, healthy and civilized spirit of contemporary college students.
