Full name of CET-4 and CET-6
CET is the full name of CET.

National College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 is a large-scale standardized test sponsored by the National College English Test Center. Since the implementation of 1987, CET-4 and CET-6 have gone through nearly 30 years. In order to adapt to the development of higher education in China and deepen the reform of college English teaching, CET-4 and CET-6 have been reformed and improved many times. At present, the examination covers language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation.

The written CET test time is June and 65438+February, and the oral CET test time is May and165438+1October. From 20 16 to 12, candidates who took the written test that year are eligible to take the oral test at the same level.

CET also offers non-English exam subjects, including Japanese Band 4 (CJT4), Japanese Band 6 (CJT6), Russian Band 4 (CRT6), German Band 4 (CGT4), German Band 6 (CGT6) and French Band 4 (CFT4). Non-English exam subjects start once a year in June, and there is no oral exam.

The qualifications for CET-4 and CET-6 are as follows:

1. Full-time undergraduates, junior college students and graduate students in ordinary colleges and adult colleges.

2. Students who have completed CET-4 can apply for CET-4, and students who have completed CET-6 and scored above 425 can apply for CET-6; Candidates who apply for CET-6 in Japan, Germany and Russia are not required to reach CET-4 in their corresponding languages.

3. CET-4 and CET-6 do not accept social candidates. Students who have set up test centers in our school are not allowed to apply for written examinations across schools.

Candidates who have completed this written test can voluntarily apply for the corresponding oral test.
