Anhui Normal University is the earliest institution of higher learning in Anhui. It is located in Wuhu, a national open city with the reputation of "the city of thousands of lakes". It is jointly established by Anhui Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and is a national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest".

At present, there are 6 post-doctoral mobile stations, 8 first-level disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, two disciplines 1 one for doctoral degrees (excluding the coverage of first-level disciplines), 30 first-level disciplines authorized by master degrees, 8 master's degree authorization points 15 and 88 undergraduate majors.

Cooperation and communication:

The school is one of the first universities in China to be allowed to recruit foreign students at public expense, and it is also the national Chinese education base and the Anhui Chinese international promotion center. We also established the Confucius Institute with Charles Darwin University in Australia and the Confucius Classroom at Zaporoge National University in Ukraine.
