Kong Liuan, male, born in April, 1963, is currently the president of Henan University of Science and Technology, presiding over the overall administrative work of the college, assisting the secretary to preside over the work of the party committee, and being in charge of the dean's office and the personnel department.

He used to be vice president of Henan Polytechnic University, dean of Henan Urban Construction College, professor, master tutor, doctor of engineering, and graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing. 1July, 1985, graduated from North China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower with a major in construction machinery. Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research of safety technology and engineering. Presided over and participated in the completion of 2 national projects such as the Tenth Five-Year Plan and 6 provincial (ministerial) scientific research projects. He was awarded the Top Ten Scientific and Technological Achievement Award 1 in the coal industry in 2005, the second prize of Henan Science and Technology Progress Award 1 in 2006, and two first prizes at the department (bureau) level. In 2007, he was rated as one of the top ten management talents in Henan Province and the academic and technical leader of Henan Provincial Education Department. In 2008, he was selected into the scientific and technological innovation talents support program of colleges and universities in Henan Province. He has published nearly 30 academic papers, including 7 EI, 1 ISTP/KLOC-0, 4 academic works and 3 university textbooks.
