College students will enjoy many preferential policies when they join the army, such as extra points for further studies and tuition subsidies. However, because the students have not yet obtained the corresponding academic qualifications, their academic qualifications during their service are universities.

What are the registration procedures for college students to join the army?

Before August 5 every year, male college students who are interested in applying can log on to the national recruitment network and fill in their basic personal information. After successful registration, they can download and print relevant documents to fill in, and then submit them to the admissions and student financial assistance management departments of their universities for review.

Second, the first trial

Before the holiday, according to the notice of the school, college students will take their ID cards and college students' ID cards to the designated place to participate in the preliminary examination organized by the county-level military service organs where the school is located at the specified time. Students who are determined to be pre-enlisted shall receive the registration form and application form after being examined and sealed by the military service organs and relevant departments of the school.

Third, physical examination and political examination

College students can choose one of the school location, pre-school registration place or habitual residence as a conscript. After the start of conscription, the military service organ in the enlistment area shall inform the college students of the specific time and place of physical examination. The notice requires that college students can directly participate in the physical examination organized by the county-level conscription office where they join the army with their ID cards, student ID cards and audited registration forms, and the local public security, education and other departments will conduct political examination simultaneously.

Fourth, visit and investigate.

Those who pass the political examination and physical examination shall be notified by the county-level conscription office to the grassroots people's armed forces department of the township (town, street) where the college students are located and arranged for a visit.

The county-level conscription office comprehensively measures those who pass the physical examination and political examination, and determines the target of scheduled approval for enlistment. Under the same conditions, graduates with high academic qualifications will be given priority as planned recruits.

Sixth, post publicity.

The list of candidates shall be publicized in counties (cities, districts) and townships (towns, streets), and the time for accepting supervision by the masses shall not be less than 5 days.

Seven, approved to join the army.

Those who pass the physical examination and political examination shall be officially approved by the county-level conscription office after publicity, and a notice of enlistment shall be issued. Students cancel their registered permanent residence with the Notice of Enlistment, enjoy preferential treatment for conscripts, wait for payment, pick up and transport them to the army for service.
