After signing up for the activity with excitement, I came to the meeting place with other contestants. The organization teacher on the stage gave us a speech. After listening to his speech, I think our actions can make changes for our community. Listening to everyone's enthusiastic speeches and oaths, I am really glad that I can join such a team and make myself a volunteer.

We didn't play a practical role at all, just as a foil to the health center. We went to Lijing Hotel, a four-star hotel, which is also the hotel designated by the National Games to receive tour groups. Director X took us to check their kitchen. He was talking alone from beginning to end, and we were right behind him, so we didn't have the opportunity to practice in person and use the theoretical knowledge we had learned. Probably the reason why leaders have been working for a long time. I don't like director X's bossy attitude at all. He just goes in and out of people's kitchens, trying his best to find faults and give the manager a good lecture. Then we sat there and checked the employee's health certificate and the hotel's business license. When we found that the license had expired, Director X plausibly asked them to apply for a new business license quickly.
I was thinking at that time: why didn't the people in the health center find out in advance when the license expired, or didn't come out for inspection at ordinary times? This inspection is just a show! Especially with two volunteers, very ostentatious! What I can't stand more is that we always check and soon go to the private room on the fourth floor for dinner. Director X called his two friends to gather together a table, and we had a "shady" meal and a drink. Obviously, it is no different from eating and drinking with public funds! We ate the hotel's specialties and the dishes recommended by the chef, and then Director X received a phone call saying that the food at the racecourse had gone bad and needed his treatment. This time he woke up and went to the racecourse soon.
The next day, things got worse. Director X told us that the car was not enough and sent us directly back to school. On the third day, two more groups were sent back to school. We took the bus for nearly an hour and came back by car without doing any work, wasting time. ...
I am disappointed with this service, and I really feel that it is meaningful when there is no training. The corruption of civil servants in China is evident! This service can only be written in the log. I'm really embarrassed to tell others that this is not a service. Maybe the comrades in the health center don't need us so-called volunteers at all, or maybe we will hinder them from eating, drinking and having fun! In short, I am disappointed and angry!
Now that the National Games is over, it is good to have such an experience, but there are some regrets. If you can really serve, it is worthwhile to sweat.
