The predecessor of Zhengzhou University Law School was the Law Department of Zhengzhou University established by the Ministry of Justice, Henan Provincial Party Committee and Government on 1980. 1985 law department set up the first batch of economic law majors in China, and 1988 economic law majors were independently set up as economic law departments. From 65438 to 0994, the law department and the economic law department merged to form the present Zhengzhou University Law School.

Since the establishment of the institute, hundreds of famous experts and scholars from universities at home and abroad have often come to our institute to give lectures and give guidance.
