Each district has dynamically adjusted the demarcation of the "three zones" and demarcated 16650 closed control zones, involving 1 1.878 million people, a decrease of more than 4 million people compared with the first demarcation.

There are four bridges across Huangpu River in Pudong New Area, including Nanpu, Lupu, Yangpu and Xupu. There are 1/vehicle tunnel and1pedestrian sightseeing tunnel on the Bund, including Shangzhong Road, Longyao Road, Dapu Road, South Tibet Road, Fuxing East Road, Renmin Road, Xinjian Road, Yan 'an East Road, Dalian Road, Xiangyin Road and so on. Cross-sea transportation facilities include Shanghai Yangtze River Bridge (tunnel) leading to Chongming and Donghai Bridge leading to Yangshan.

Education:

In 20 16, there were 634 legal entities of various educational undertakings in Pudong New Area, with 474 students1000, 4 faculty members1500 and 34,600 full-time teachers. There are also two off-campus education units, namely, youth activity center and practice school, 1 College of Education and 14 Department of Education and other education units. Shanghai Open University has 3 campuses, 1 community college and Shanghai University for the Aged 1 campus.

There are 37 community (adult) schools, neighborhood (village) committees 120 1, learning teams 228 1, and private non-academic education institutions 122. There are 18 institutions of higher learning in the new area (mainly located in the administrative division of Pudong New Area), including 2 Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run institutions of higher learning.
