Xi Anhua University, referred to as Huaxi University for short, is a full-time comprehensive private university sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Education Department and Xi Municipal Committee of NLD. Xi Huaxi University, founded in 1989, is a demonstration university for poverty alleviation through education.

Huaxi University in An consists of Xiangyang Campus in An Lantian, Honghe Campus adjacent to red river valley National Forest Park in Shaanxi and Yangling Campus of National Agricultural City, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu with a construction area of 800,000 square meters.

In 2002, Xi 'an Huaxi Specialized University cooperated with the bank, and the poor students who are self-reliant and enterprising were guaranteed by the school, and they were given credit help, and their loans were gradually repaid after they went to work. This measure enables poor students to complete their college studies with only one-third of the tuition and miscellaneous fees of ordinary colleges and universities.
