The basic conditions for joining the League are: the applicant must be a China youth aged over 14 but under 28, recognize the articles of association of the League, be willing to join an organization of the League and work actively in it, implement the resolutions of the League and pay the tour fee on schedule. Young people who apply to join the League will be introduced by two league members, apply to the branch committee, fill in the volunteer form, and become a league member after discussion and approval by the branch meeting and the superior committee.

According to the Constitution of the Socialist Youth League of China,

Rule number one China youth who have reached the age of 14 but under the age of 28, recognize the articles of association of the Youth League, are willing to join an organization of the Youth League and work actively in it, implement the resolutions of the Youth League, and pay the tour fee on time, and can apply to join the Productive Youth League of China.

Article 4? Receiving members must strictly follow the following procedures:

(a) young people applying for membership should be introduced by two members.

(two) the introducer shall be responsible for explaining the articles of association to the introduced person and explaining the thoughts, performances and experiences of the introduced person to the league organization.

(3) Young people who are required to join the League should apply to the branch committee, fill in the volunteer form, and become members only after discussion and approval by the branch meeting and the superior committee. Young people who have been approved to join the League will be qualified as League members from the date of adoption of the branch meeting.

Member requirements: 1. Adhere to the Four Cardinal Principles, support reform and opening up, be politically consistent with the CPC Central Committee, care about current affairs and politics, actively demand progress, and seriously participate in various political studies and collective activities;

2. Love this major, study hard, consciously study hard for socialist modernization, actively participate in social practice and extracurricular scientific and technological activities, observe learning discipline, conscientiously complete various basic learning tasks, and pass the academic performance above. Staff should base themselves on their own duties and do a good job in teaching, educating people and managing services.
