The Foreign Languages Institute has a strong faculty, and most of the teachers come from key universities directly under the Ministry of Education, with rich professional knowledge and rich teaching experience. There are 63 full-time teachers, 4 professors and 7 associate professors/kloc-0, and 33.3% of them have senior titles. All young teachers have master's degrees, including doctors 1 person and 4 doctors. Most teachers have gone abroad for further study and exchange. At the same time, the School of Foreign Languages also hired 10 foreign teachers to teach. Foreign teachers 15.

Great achievements have been made in the teaching of Foreign Languages Institute. Many people have won the school teaching achievement award, excellent teaching quality award, excellent teaching management award and teaching reform award for many times, and many people have been awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Teacher in South Guangdong", "Excellent Teacher in the Municipal Government", "Excellent Teacher" and "Excellent Educator" by the school.

In addition to teaching and educating people, teachers of Foreign Languages Institute are also engaged in teaching and scientific research. According to incomplete statistics, it has published 13 monographs and translations, 3 dictionaries, and 16 textbooks, edited 26 college English CDs recommended by the Ministry of Education for nationwide distribution, and published hundreds of papers (translations) in foreign languages and other domestic magazines. In recent five years, our college has invited experts and scholars from home and abroad to give lectures many times, and successfully held the annual meeting of Guangdong Foreign Literature Association in 2003.
